I'm Stan, 29, proud dad of two, clinically allergic to posing documentary wedding photographer. I live in beautiful Folkestone and I shoot weddings literally everywhere. When I'm not shnapping weddings you'll find me in the gym, enjoying a walk or a hike in nature, rading on the sofa or... engaging in any of the remaining 1001 interests I have!

no cringe posing
Most couples I photograph aren't big posers. In fact, most of them, like me, don't particularly enjoy being photographed at all.
That's absolutely fine. There's no pressure to perform or do anything in particular. You really do get to enjoy your wedding and get beautiful photographs without the cringe posing.

YOU WON'T MISS YOUR WEDDING
I'm not there to run your wedding, interrupt what's happening or disappear with you for an hour while everyone else is having all the fun.
For around 95% of the day, I let things happen and photograph them as they do. Family photos and a few photographs together? Absolutely. We'll usually get them done in around 10-15 minutes.
Then you're straight back to your wedding.

HANDS-OFF. NOT SWITCHED-OFF.
Being hands-off doesn't mean I'm just standing around waiting for something to happen.
I'm constantly watching - for the big emotions, the little in-between moments, great light, interesting compositions and all the stuff happening around you that you didn't even notice.
I won't impose a template or certain look on your wedding either. I'll photograph what makes your day yours, creatively and as it really happened, so the photos don't just show how it looked - they bring back how it felt.

That's all I truly want for my couples too - to have the best time at their weddings and let me do my magic with the photos.
I feel you! I'm allergic to posing too - clinically! I can give you some directions for those natural couple portraits if you need them, but we'll keep it totally cringe-free.
This summarises my approach to photographing weddings - I love my craft, I love weddings, and I aim to delivery beautiful, natural storytelling galleries without turning the day into a photoshoot.

I love photography and I'm incredibly grateful I get to earn my living through my passion. What inspires me deeply and excites me is street photography and the idea of capturing life as it happens in a visually intriguing way.
So at weddings as well as capturing the energy and feeling of the day, I always try to create images that are unique, creative and interesting to look at.

I'm so proud and grateful to be in This is Reportage's TOP 40 photographers worldwide ranking - TiR awards are the most difficult to win within the documentary wedding photography industry worldwide.
I also landed in Photographers Keeping it Real's TOP 10 Worldwide ranking - mind blown again, but extremely grateful and proud. I also made it to the finals at The Wedding Industry Awards in the first year that I joined. I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with it all!
