Where do I even begin? Jas and Danny’s wedding at Kindred in West London was truly a special one to photograph. Here is how it all started. I photographed Jas and Danny’s surprise proposal at Kyoto Garden earlier this year and I was over the moon when Danny messaged to see if I’m free on their wedding day.
I’d already spent some time chatting to Danny and even watched a couple of his YouTube videos – yes, this fella is living his dream making YouTube videos for a living but I didn’t know much about Jas. What I’ll always remember though is is the big hug she gave me right after their proposal to greet me. No hand shakes, no fake smiles. Just a big, genuine hug. And that tells you exacly what Jas is like. I remember thinking – man, these two are absolute gems.
And so it turned out to be. Their wedding was incredibly special, personal and intimate. I’ll spare some of the private details but all I can say is that it was one of the most beautiful wedding experiences I’ve witnessed. The day was really emotional in the best way possible and I just felt immensely grateful to have been a part of it.
Jas started her prep at Kindred around midday (who doesn’t love a late start!), they then had a beautiful ceremony and a day ahead which was filled with so much life, energy and lovely moments.
“Oh Stan seriously we’re blown away by your work, we couldn’t have picked a better person to be there for us on our special day! Also all of our friends and family absolutely loved you!! Jesus, I don’t have any words to say because it’s just, yeah… This is so good.”

Kindred London – Photographer’s Dream Venue
I’d never been at Kindred before so I did a little rekkie online to see what things are like. You can never quite get the full picture by looking at photos online though – you have to see it in person to appreciate it truly. Absolutely loved it. The building itself is called Bradmore House and is a Grade II listed English Baroque building Queen Caroline Street in Hammersmith and it has a real character and warmth about it.
Jas and Danny got married in the Library room which was simply stunning. The light was really dramatic which contributed to the overall atmosphere of the day. I felt that every wall of the room made for a beautiful backdrop. As a photographer sometimes you find yourself avoiding certain disctracting backgrounds within venues but this simply wasn’t a concern at Kindred.
I also loved the symmetry of the venue – inside and outside. It made getting creative with photography that much easier.

Elegant and Romantic Couple Time Portraits at Kindred London
Couple time portraits – a part of the day I do enjoy, even as a documentary wedding photographer. I don’t spend too long on those but I invest every bit of effort and attention to create beautiful images. I normally get them done within 10 – 15 minutes so that we don’t turn the wedding into a photoshoot and the couple can get back to enjoying their day. And some couples don’t even want any of these at all – totally fine by me!
Jas and Danny loved the idea of having couple time portraits though. They loved how dramatic and elegant some parts of the venue were so that’s exactly what I wanted to show in the images. The incredible connection these two had also meant that I hardly had give any prompts at all, apart from where a good spot to stand is.

Weddings at London Kindred
Kindred really do it all when it comes to weddings. Their main space is The Hall which can hold up to 120 ceremony and reception guests, and up to 150 standing guests during cocktails and dancing. High arched windows flood the space with natural light which is great for daytime ceremonies and celebrations.
The Library & Salon Bar is where Jas and Danny’s gorgeous celebration was. The capacity of those spaces is 45 guests for the ceremony and sit down meal, and 80 standing for cocktails and dancing. Colour-coded bookshelves, deep green walls, high arched windows and soft lighting – what more could you possibly need to have the best time at your wedding.
Jas and Danny, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph your incredible wedding at this beautiful Hammersmith venue.
If you’re planning your wedding at London Kindred and are looking for a friendly and cheerful photographer to capture it all beautifully and naturally I’d love to hear from you.

OR… let’s get to know each other

So good to meet you! I’m Stan, 29, dad of two mini tornadoes – Sophia and Noah, in love with photography, crazy about working out, and a total foodie! I’m one with many, many interests, ranging from F1, kickboxing and Strongman to yoga, journalling, and meditation. And so much more in between.
I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but after being a bit allergic to football I’ve become a fan since the 2026 WC (still hate Marmite though). I love anything Harlan Coben comes up with, as long as it’s not dubbed, Black Mirror, and The Big Bang Theory. So much contrast, I know.
That’s probably enough about me at this point. I’d love to hear all about you. Say hello here or find out more about me.
