Hey, this is me on the day I photographed my first wedding!
Hey, I’m Stan and I’m a wedding photographer living in the lovely seaside town Folkestone in Kent. I’m dad to a cheeky but very loveable nearly 3-year-old toddler called Sophia and me and my partner Charley are expecting our second baby anytime now. Wish me luck! Photography is my biggest passion and I’m extremely grateful that it is also my full-time job although it has never felt like a job.
Wildlife Photography
My passion for nature, the outdoors and wildlife is what got me really interested in photography in the first place.

About me.
I got my first camera in 2020 and I haven’t stopped taking photos since. I fell in love with the concept of capturing unique moments that might never reoccur or be repeated. When I learned the basics and got comfortable using my camera I then started to dive into the more creative elements of photography - the usage of light and shadow, colour and composition. I’ve been continuously learning, exploring and developing as a photographer since.
When I decided that I wanted to become a full-time photographer I had a huge task to deal with. What was I going to photograph? I wanted to be involved in something with a lot of meaning and that’s how I decided to start photographing weddings. At the end of the day, what could be more meaningful than photographing what most people describe as their biggest life event and even the happiest day of their lives.
The biggest impact on my style and my photography in general comes from my mentor and now friend (for a small fee) - Olly Knight. I fell in love with his work and I knew I also wanted to be a documentary photographer, capturing real moments and real emotions instead of making people uncomfortable by treating them as models and directing their every move.
Outside of photography (which is probably 80% of my life with weddings as a full-time job, and street and wildlife photography as hobbies) the one thing I love is spending time with my family - Sophia and Charley. Our little clan will soon have a new member but I’ll tell you more about that when it happens - it should be any minute now!
I truly enjoy spending time with my family in Bulgaria too. I only see them a couple of times a year so our time together is truly precious.
Enough about me…
