Multi Award-winning Wedding photographer in Kent

HI, I'm Stan - a dad of two, professional third-wheel & clinically allergic to posing.

You’ve probably got twenty tabs open right now, trying to find a photographer who actually gets you - someone who won’t turn your wedding into a photo shoot. Someone who’ll just catch the real stuff - the laughter, the chaos, and the bits you’ll never see coming - while you actually enjoy your wedding.

Hey, I’m Stan. I’m 28 (despite my name hinting otherwise), dad to two mini tornadoes - Sophia and Noah - and mildly obsessed with photography. When I’m not documenting weddings, you’ll find me in a field with a long lens chasing rare birds, or wandering around London, pushing the limits of my comfort zone with street photography.

Get to know me...

This is me on the day I photographed my first wedding!

No AI here, just me

I jumped ship when all my Android phones and Windows PCs kept breaking

the big bang theory

I just love it, despite having seen each episode at least 7 times

Just a few things I'm crazy about...

I got my first camera in 2020, and I haven’t stopped taking photos since. I fell in love with the concept of capturing unique moments that might never recur or be repeated. When I learned the basics and got comfortable using my camera, I then started to dive into the more creative elements of photography - the use of light and shadow, colour and composition. I’ve been continuously learning, exploring and developing as a photographer since.

When I decided that I wanted to become a full-time photographer, I had a huge task to tackle. What was I going to photograph? I wanted to be involved in something with a lot of inherent meaning, and that’s how I decided to start photographing weddings. At the end of the day, what could be more meaningful than photographing what most people describe as their biggest life event and often the happiest day of their lives?

The biggest impact on my style and my photography in general comes from my mentor and now friend (for a small fee) - Olly Knight. I fell in love with his work, and I knew I also wanted to be a documentary photographer, capturing real moments and real emotions instead of making people uncomfortable by treating them as models and directing their every move.

Outside of photography (which is probably 80% of my life with weddings as a full-time job, and street and wildlife photography as hobbies) the one thing I love is spending time with my family - Charley, Sophia, and the newest member of the clan - Noah. I truly enjoy spending time with my family in Bulgaria, too. I only see them a couple of times a year, so our time together is truly precious.

My passion for nature, the outdoors and wildlife is what got me really interested in photography in the first place.

My journey in
Photography

It all started with...
Wildlife Photography

- Naadia & Jamie

Every photo captures a different emotion that helped us to relive and remember that particular moment in time. The photos are stunning and we love them. We cannot wait to share them with our family and friends. I'm so pleased that you were recommended to Jamie and that you were available on the weekend as planned. It was meant to be!

We are honestly lost for words...The pictures are absolutely beautiful, every single one!

- Jodie & Tommy

We literally have no words. Thank you a million times over - you’ve captured beautiful moments we can look at for the rest of our lives perfectly and we loved every single bloody picture - literally every one. We cannot say thank you and we love you enough, you’re a literal angel

We’ll forever be grateful that we chose you to be our photographer...

Stan was our wedding photographer last September and managed to strike a masterful balance between documenting the day as it unfolded and capturing key moments. The photos came out amazingly. I can’t recommend Stan highly enough.

In the months leading up to my surprise proposal in London, Stan was a pleasure to communicate and plan with all the way from Canada where I live. On the morning of, he was incredibly helpful and professional, arriving early to the cinema to prepare, while giving me peace of mind on the day. He captured the moments leading up to the proposal and after it so well. We couldn't be happier with all of the photos he took and we'll be able to keep for the rest of our lives. Thank you Stan!

Thank you, Stan, we loved having you with us for our special day! Amazing photos that we will treasure forever. If you are looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond to capture your special moment, Stan is your man! When you book someone 24 hours before your proposal via a stranger's recommendation on Instagram, you're not sure what you're going to get. But what was delivered were timeless memories that we, our friends, and our family will treasure for a lifetime. Such good photos that we booked him for our wedding, and once again Stan delivered!
