An awesome, colourful celebration at hampton manor

Just before the ceremony, Tom from the venue appeared with a giant net trying to rescue a blue tit that’d flown inside the barn – easily one of the funniest starts to a ceremony I’ve ever seen. Once things calmed down, Anika walked in, and the room just filled with emotion.

The rain decided to join us later, but honestly, it added something special. A few portraits under a clear umbrella, drinks indoors, and one hell of a party to finish it all off – sax player and everything. It was a proper celebration, and I loved every minute of it.

Anika & sam

Drove three and a half hours to get there, stayed in a Premier Inn, woke up to grey skies and knew straight away – yep, classic British summer wedding incoming. But Hampton Manor’s one of those venues where the weather doesn’t matter. The place has magic built in. Anika and Sam’s day was full of laughter, music, and one rogue blue tit that tried to join the ceremony. Here’s what it looked like from my side of the lens.

Anika and Sam’s day at Hampton Manor was pure good vibes from start to finish. The morning kicked off with Anika and her bridesmaids laughing through hair and makeup – Emily was in charge of keeping the mood fun, and she nailed it. Meanwhile, Sam was out front greeting guests, all smiles, all nerves, and ready to go.
